No, it’s not Christmas…It’s time for the biggest HR Technology industry event in the world, the 2013 HR Technology Conference and Expo!
This year, the gathering of industry experts and leaders will convene in Sin City. (Hopefully we’ll witness more vendor saints than sinners!)The HR Tech Conference will cover the current HR Tech trends and is an opportunity for vendors to unveil their latest and greatest. It is THE event for HR Technologists.
Several members of my team will be attending this year; some will be working our booth (#219, so stop by and say hi! We’d love to meet and chat with you!) and some will be attending vendor demos and booths to get the scoop on new functionality and offerings.
Every member of our team is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a particular vendor or specialty. In order to foster the “expert” part of the SME title, team members will specifically hunt down assigned vendors and topics such as Ceridian, bswift or Talent Management to keep their knowledgebase current. If you’d like us to Nancy Drew any scoop about a vendor, topic or functionality, we will put on our Sherlock hat and be your research team on the floor.
One of the reasons that makes the HR Technology Conference so much more attended and well received is because it really subjectifies vendors and their offerings. Other conferences make vendors stars, praising everything they do. But let’s be real, not every vendor is created equal. (This isn’t lake Wobegon!). And not every vendor has great things to offer. This conference allows inadequacies to stand out and the vendor cream to rise to the top.
We hope to see you in Vegas, but just in case you can’t make it (or maybe you’d like to hear our take on the happenings of the HR Tech Conference) we will be posting highlights throughout the event.
What happens in Vegas…will be blogged about, so stay tuned!
