Growth is so exciting. Seeing a new service that is so helpful to employers launch always makes me feel proud of what we’re doing here at Lockton to make running a business much easier.
The HR Technology and Outsourcing Practice has been working closely with the development of Lockton’s Exchange Solutions Practice. After all, providing vendor-neutral, best-fit solutions is something we’ve been doing for years. It’s really cool to see the model that we love being used to build another service that’s important to employers within Lockton.
“Our clients count on us to deliver expert, unbiased advice about their employee benefits plans. Regarding private exchanges, our position remains the same: tell us your problem and we’ll help you solve it,” said J. Michael Brewer, President of Lockton Benefit Group.
It’s also been really exciting to build our team’s first app! (Yep, we’re now all walking around in black turtlenecks and jeans pretending we’re Steve Jobs!)
After all, there are so many systems out there and different exchange approaches, we had to create a tool to help our co-workers narrow down the field of options for our employer clients to those that best fit their strategy. Here’s a de-identified example of what that output looks like on an entry-level exercise.
Lockton is offering independent, unbiased advice about all exchange solutions to clients through our new practice, Exchange Solutions. Lockton will consult with clients to determine if private exchanges are the right cultural, financial and strategic fit and then help them choose the right exchange for their needs. Lockton isn’t pitching a single solution or a Lockton-owned exchange, but rather maintains an extensive library of the different private exchange vendors and their features to match the vendor that would make the best fit with each client.
